Carrizozo Community Public Library & Archive is a true grass-roots success story. It all started as a committee with Carrizozo Works, Inc. (CWI) and a group of dedicated volunteers who became Friends of the Library. The Town of Carrizozo adopted the library as a municipal entity with an ordinance. The grand opening was celebrated in January of 2019.Carrizozo Library offers free Wi-Fi 24/7 with no password, public computers, a Book Nook program for children, and so much more.
Trail #26: The Nogal Peak trail is 1.1 miles long. It begins at the Crest trail (T25) and dead ends at Nogal Peak. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding

Carrizo Peak is located in the Sacramento Mountains in southern New Mexico. This mountain towers in relative isolation over the nearby town of Carrizozo.
Ski Apache is a ski resort in southern New Mexico, on the slopes of Sierra Blanca mountains. It is owned and operated, since 1963, by the Mescalero Apache Tribe. Ski Apache was the only ski resort in New Mexico with its own gondola lift, until Taos Ski Valley obtained a gondola lift.
